China's Communist Party kicked off on Monday its four-day key meeting in Beijing, state-run media reported, as President Xi Jinping is believed to be paving the way for a controversial third term as the country's leader.
The sixth plenary session of the 19th Central Committee of the ruling party is expected to end after a resolution is adopted on the major achievements and historical experience of its 100 years of endeavors.
