Ahead of the talks, foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that these upcoming talks' focus will be "guarantees and verifications." He said the negotiators would be discussing a new document, which would address "the nuclear topic and sanctions."
Amir-Abdollahian added that Iran's priorities are selling its oil without any limitations and conducting banking transactions to receive payment for its oil.
The head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Islami, perhaps signaling a positive message ahead of talks, said Iran would not exceed 60% uranium enrichment.
