Harvard University is facing mounting pressure from both the Trump administration and billionaire alumnus Bill Ackman over its handling of antisemitism, DEI policies, and federal compliance.
Ackman, in a detailed post Friday, accused Harvard of “ideological capture” and urged immediate reforms, including overhauls to admissions, governance, and the removal of board chair Penny Pritzker. He warned that without decisive action, the school risks “irreversible damage.” Read detailed post below:
It has saddened to me watch @Harvard, a university that I love from which I have greatly benefited, self-immolate through gross mismanagement, poor governance, and ideological capture that have occurred over the last 15 or so years, and that have been brought into clear focus…

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump blasted Harvard on Truth Social for allegedly stalling the release of foreign student records. “We are still waiting for the foreign student lists to determine how many radicalized lunatics should not be let back into our country,” he wrote, adding, “Harvard is very slow, and probably for good reason!”

The administration has already frozen Harvard’s federal funding and revoked its student visa certification.
