Afghanistan’s Ban On Girls’ Education Goes Online

To evade the Taliban’s ban on female secondary education, Afghan girls and women have flocked to online courses. But a recent two-day internet blackout in Afghanistan, which briefly cut off this crucial lifeline, could be the start of a worrying expansion of the regime’s gender apartheid.
