Artificial intelligence is reshaping modern relationships, from dating to marriage — and even divorce. Tinder is testing an AI tool called Chemistry, which scans users’ photos and asks interactive questions to gauge personality and improve matchmaking.
Meanwhile, AI is now embedded in wedding planning. The Knot reports that 36% of engaged couples use AI for tasks like drafting vows and planning logistics, up from 20% last year.

Divorce lawyers say AI is also becoming a “divorce coach,” with clients using tools like ChatGPT to interpret legal documents and manage post-breakup stress.
At the same time, the rise of AI “boyfriend” and “girlfriend” apps shows some users are choosing bots over real partners.
But the trend comes with risks. Some couples blame AI dependency for breakups, and 40% of singles consider emotional involvement with bots a form of cheating.
Privacy experts warn that the intimate data users share with AI firms could be monetized in the future.
