Anthropic is in early discussions with Meta to lease computing power, according to a person familiar with the matter cited by CNBC. The New York Times reported the potential agreement could be worth about $10 billion, lifting Meta's shares on Friday.
The report said the talks follow Anthropic's recent compute partnership with Elon Musk's SpaceX, giving it access to the Colossus 1 data center. Meta declined to comment on the reported negotiations.
