President Donald Trump on Friday suggested that the “autopen” scandal could become “one of the great scandals of all time,” questioning who was actually signing off on key documents under President Joe Biden.
“You have somebody operating it, or a lot of people operating it,” Trump said. “Joe Biden wasn't into Open Borders.”

Trump also pushed back against criticism directed at First Lady Jill Biden, saying, “I hate the concept of blaming the wife of a man who was going through a lot of problems. There was a lot of dishonesty.”
The comments come amid ongoing Republican scrutiny over the use of automated signature devices during the Biden administration, as well as renewed debate over border policy.
Trump did not offer specific evidence linking the autopen to any policy decisions but framed the issue as part of a broader pattern of what he called “dishonesty.”
