President Donald Trump accused former President Joe Biden’s White House team of treason, claiming they exploited Biden’s cognitive decline to enact policies he never supported, including opening the southern border. In a Truth Social post Tuesday, Trump alleged Biden’s aides hijacked the presidency using an autopen to approve border policies that have allowed criminals to enter the U.S.

“They stole the presidency and put us in great danger,” Trump wrote, calling them “treasonous thugs.” While visiting Capitol Hill, Trump told reporters he plans to investigate who used the autopen to sign major legislation.
“This is a very serious thing,” Trump said. “We had a president that didn’t sign anything.” The remarks come amid renewed scrutiny of Biden’s presidency and health following the disclosure of his aggressive prostate cancer.
