President Donald Trump awarded Boeing a contract to build the U.S. Air Force's new fleet of fighter jets, under the Next Generation Air Dominance program, dubbed as F-47.

"This will be the most advanced, most capable, most lethal aircraft ever built. An experimental version of the plane has secretly been flying for almost 5 years and we're confident that it massively overpowers the capabilities of any other nation," said Trump in a press conference. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth believes it sends a clear message to political allies and enemies and signals America's air dominance.
