British police on Thursday arrested Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, on suspicion of misconduct in public office following disclosures in newly released Jeffrey Epstein files. The arrest took place at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate in eastern England, according to authorities.
Thames Valley Police said a man in his sixties was taken into custody as part of an ongoing investigation tied to documents released by the U.S. Justice Department.

The materials allegedly show Andrew shared confidential government information with Jeffrey Epstein while serving as a British trade envoy.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the case was a matter for law enforcement and stressed that no one is above the law. Buckingham Palace said King Charles III would cooperate with investigators if requested.
Andrew has denied wrongdoing but previously reached a financial settlement related to Epstein-linked allegations. The investigation remains ongoing.
