Epstein Files Fight Collides With Texas Redistricting Battle

Texas House Democrats are attempting to tie transparency demands to a high-stakes redistricting fight.

According to The Guardian, Minority Leader Gene Wu plans to introduce an amendment requiring the release of the Epstein files as the GOP-drawn congressional map advances.

Wu said the move “forces Republicans to choose between loyalty to Trump and exposing sexual predators.” The legislature is scheduled to reconvene at 11 a.m. ET, setting up a heated vote.
