A woman fatally shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer during a federal operation in south Minneapolis has been identified as 37 year old Renee Good, according to U.S. officials.
Authorities said Good was a U.S. citizen and a legal observer monitoring federal enforcement activity, not a target of an arrest.

The shooting occurred Wednesday morning near East 34th Street and Portland Avenue as federal agents and local law enforcement clashed with protesters.
Witnesses said agents blocked Good’s vehicle and attempted to open the driver’s door. They reported the vehicle moved briefly before shots were fired, after which it crashed into another car.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem described the incident as an act of domestic terrorism, alleging the vehicle was used as a weapon.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey rejected that account after reviewing videos. The FBI and Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating.
