A Democratic National Committee panel failed to adopt a unified position on Israel’s war in Gaza after dueling resolutions collapsed at the summer meeting in Minneapolis.
One resolution, introduced by DNC chair Ken Martin, echoed the party platform by calling for humanitarian aid to Gaza, a ceasefire, and a two-state solution. The committee initially advanced it but Martin later withdrew the measure, citing deep divisions within the party. Instead, he referred the issue to a task force for further discussion.
