Trump’s FTC is turning up the volume on fraud, hitting cheaters where it hurts, and protecting consumers where it counts.

The Federal Trade Commission is a critical arm of the government that protects consumers from abuse in America. Under the previous FTC, the definition of protection went overly broad when Lina Khan, trained in the halls of elite academic institutions, pursued a strategy to break up big tech for what she argued were serious violations of consumer experiences. Federal courts consistently found her actions to be executive overreach, and the U.S. government lost a couple of key cases, setting back the prosecution agenda of the commission.
