House Democrats: Ghislaine Maxwell Gets ‘Concierge Treatment,’ Plans To Ask Trump For Pardon

Ghislaine Maxwell with Jeffrey Epstein

Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted accomplice of financier Jeffrey Epstein, is reportedly seeking a commutation of her 20-year prison sentence from President Donald Trump, according to documents obtained by House Judiciary Committee Democrats and reviewed by CBS News.

In a letter to the White House, Democrats said Maxwell is preparing a formal clemency request “for your direct consideration,” alleging that prison officials at the Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas are assisting her with the application.

The lawmakers also accused the facility’s staff of giving Maxwell “concierge-style treatment,” including special meals, private visits, and computer access, raising concerns about preferential treatment.

The allegations follow Maxwell’s transfer from a Florida prison after a meeting with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, prompting Democrats to demand a public hearing on potential misconduct or political influence.

Maxwell’s attorney has not commented, and the Justice Department and White House have yet to respond.
