The report said Ukraine has also intensified attacks on energy infrastructure and military targets in Crimea as part of a broader effort to disrupt Russian logistics and revenues.

Analysts told CNBC that recent developments have improved Ukraine’s position. These include signals of renewed support from U.S. President Donald Trump, diplomatic momentum for Ukraine’s European integration, and pressure on Russian energy earnings from lower oil prices.

However, experts cautioned that Ukraine still faces serious challenges, particularly shortages in air defense systems. They also warned that President Vladimir Putin may respond with further escalation, as mounting military and economic pressure leaves Moscow facing increasingly difficult choices about the future of the conflict.
