Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said Robinson has refused to cooperate with investigators.
Authorities are probing his ties to online gaming and “dark internet” culture, citing messages engraved on bullet casings referencing memes, video games, and anti-fascist lyrics.
A note reportedly left by Robinson is under review. His roommate, who was transitioning, has been cooperating with investigators.

Utah Attorney General Derek Brown has not ruled out pursuing the death penalty. Meanwhile, lawmakers in Washington expressed alarm about rising political violence.
