Israeli strikes have killed Majid Khademi, the intelligence chief of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, as tensions escalate ahead of President Donald Trump’s deadline for Tehran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, reported by international agencies.
According to the report, Iran confirmed the killing and warned of stronger retaliation if U.S. threats to target civilian infrastructure are carried out.
The report said Iran continues missile and drone attacks on Israel and Gulf states, while Israeli forces have expanded strikes across Iran and Lebanon. The Strait of Hormuz remains largely blocked, disrupting global energy supplies and pushing oil prices higher.

Trump has intensified rhetoric, warning of severe consequences if Iran does not comply. Iranian officials have condemned the threats as violations of international law.
Meanwhile, mediators including Egypt, Pakistan and Turkey are exploring a 45-day ceasefire proposal, though Iran has denied active negotiations. The report said the conflict continues to widen, with rising casualties and economic strain across the region.
