Vice President JD Vance revealed that President Trump's MOU with Iran is a tactical move to "refill the world's oil economy" and then to see "where the hand is."

He made the comments during an interview in The Michael Knowles Show on Tuesday.

The United States and Iran had signed a 14-point MOU to formally end the 2026 Iran war and establish a 60-day window for comprehensive peace negotiations.

This included reopening maritime operations in the Strait of Hormuz through which a major chunk of the world's oil requirements move.
