Iran Refuses Ceasefire As Conflict With U.S. Continues

Iran has rejected U.S. efforts to broker a ceasefire in the ongoing conflict, according to reports from FARS News Agency. A source cited by the outlet said Tehran sees no basis for talks with a country it accuses of violating agreements.

Iran instead plans to continue pursuing its strategic objectives before considering any end to the war.

The conflict began on Feb. 28 following strikes by the United States and Israel. President Donald Trump has pushed for negotiations, but Iran’s stance signals limited prospects for a near-term diplomatic resolution.
