Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said negotiators agreed on general guiding principles that could lead to drafting a formal deal.

Araghchi said discussions were more serious and constructive than earlier rounds but warned a final agreement would not come quickly. He said the talks could help avert military action previously threatened by Donald Trump.
