The Israeli Air Force continues to intercept drones launched from Iran, with fighter jets deployed across the Middle East to neutralize threats, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Iran launched over 100 drones early Friday, hours after Israel initiated a sweeping military operation targeting Iranian nuclear sites, senior commanders, and key scientific personnel. The strikes mark one of the most significant escalations between the two nations in recent history.

Brigadier General Effie Defrin, an IDF spokesperson, confirmed that Israeli air defenses are actively intercepting the drones and stated that Israel has “control over the situation.” However, not all of the drones have been downed.

An Israeli military official noted that while the threat continues, many of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been neutralized.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that the U.S. was not involved in the Israeli strikes and warned Tehran against targeting American personnel or interests.
