Israeli forces carried out a large-scale wave of airstrikes across Lebanon, hitting more than 100 targets within minutes, according to the military. The report said dozens were feared dead as strikes hit residential and commercial areas in Beirut, the Beqaa Valley and southern Lebanon.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported multiple neighborhoods in the capital were struck, triggering panic and emergency responses. Officials described the attacks as a dangerous escalation, especially as many displaced civilians were sheltering in affected areas.

Israel said it targeted Hezbollah infrastructure, including missile sites and command centers, accusing the group of operating within civilian zones. Residents and local officials denied those claims, insisting the sites hit were civilian.
