Vice President J.D. Vance issued a stark warning Monday about the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, calling for urgent peace negotiations. He also cautioned against false hopes of a long-term Ukrainian victory. “If this doesn’t stop, the Ukrainians aren’t winning the war,” Vance said, in a podcast interview with political commentator Charlie Kirk. He criticized, what he described as a “weird idea” in the mainstream media, that Russia is on the verge of collapse.
