His visit follows U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner’s earlier meetings in the region.
The deal’s key unresolved issues include Hamas disarmament and the creation of a technocratic body to govern Gaza. Egypt and Qatar continue to mediate, but mutual accusations persist.

Meanwhile, humanitarian aid remains scarce. The World Food Programme said only a fraction of expected supplies have reached Gaza, warning that sustaining the ceasefire is critical to preventing famine.
