Justice Department Releases Millions More Pages From Epstein Files

Jeffrey Epstein

The U.S. Department of Justice released more than 3 million additional pages from its files on Jeffrey Epstein, expanding a court-ordered disclosure tied to federal transparency law.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said the records were posted under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

The release follows the department’s failure to meet a December 19 deadline set by Congress. Officials said the delay stemmed from the need to review millions of pages for redactions to protect victims’ identities.

The total file count now stands at roughly 5.2 million pages, including duplicates.

The latest documents add to tens of thousands of pages released in December, many of which were heavily redacted or previously public. Those files included flight logs and interview records involving Epstein and prominent figures.

Epstein died in federal custody in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. No additional individuals were charged. His associate Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a 20-year prison sentence.
