Kim Kardashian spoke out Tuesday against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) following a wave of immigration raids in Los Angeles that sparked widespread protests and a controversial military response.
More than 100 people, including day laborers, were arrested last week in ICE raids across the city. The crackdown prompted President Donald Trump to deploy the National Guard. California has since filed a lawsuit challenging the deployment.
No Kim, there isn't a better way.

If someone came to America uninvited, they have broken the law and if we ignore that, we degrade our entire system of order, justice, and good governance. You let this slide, and you get a society where no one stops you for stealing, burning… pic.twitter.com/1CooUaH7dP
Kardashian, who rarely comments on politics, posted on Instagram: “When we witness innocent, hardworking people being ripped from their families, we have to speak up.” She added that immigrants are vital to the fabric of Los Angeles and urged a “better way.”
She also reshared rapper Doechii’s speech criticizing Trump’s use of military force against protestors.
Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk responded online, defending the raids and warning against ignoring immigration laws. “No sob stories,” he wrote. “You have to restore order.”
