This Labor Day, Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer praised President Donald Trump’s pro-worker agenda, highlighting historic wage growth, new investments, and deregulation aimed at empowering American workers.
In her opinion piece for Fox News, Labor Day celebration: How President Trump is creating a brighter future for American workers, the Secretary noted that the Department of Labor has enacted 63 deregulatory measures and announced $30 million in workforce training grants.
Since January, native-born employment has risen by more than 2.4 million, while blue-collar wages climbed 1.4% over last year. Unlike under President Joe Biden, when inflation outpaced wages for 26 consecutive months, real wages have increased every month since Trump returned to office.
With @POTUS leading the way as the most pro-worker President in generations, labor will remain at the forefront of the America First agenda.
