The US Department of Justice has released nearly 30,000 additional pages of records tied to deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein, including emails, court documents, and heavily redacted materials.
The DOJ said some files contain false and sensational claims about President Donald Trump that were submitted to the FBI before the 2020 election.
The department said the allegations are unfounded and lack credibility. Trump has not been accused of wrongdoing.

The release includes a handwritten Epstein letter to convicted sex offender Larry Nassar and a 2020 prosecutor email alleging Trump flew on Epstein’s jet in the 1990s. The claims have not been independently verified.
Lawmakers from both parties criticized the DOJ for rolling releases and redactions that they say violate the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
