Political commentator Laura Loomer claims Rubicon founder Nate Morris will enter the 2026 U.S. Senate race in Kentucky, setting up a three-way GOP showdown alongside Rep. Andy Barr and former Attorney General Daniel Cameron.
According to Loomer, Morris is “refreshing his image” and courting MAGA figures like Donald Trump Jr. to boost credibility with Trump’s base.

She alleges Morris has a troubling history with “anti-Trump operatives,” highlighting his 2015 decision to appoint Obama campaign manager David Plouffe to Rubicon’s board, despite Plouffe’s later incendiary comments about Trump.
Loomer notes Morris was silent on Trump’s 2016 campaign and criticizes his ties to corporate DEI initiatives, calling him a “boardroom liberal” trying to rebrand. No formal Senate filing has been made by Morris as of yet.
