Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado is scheduled to meet President Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday, according to a senior administration official. Machado won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2025.
The meeting follows recent US military strikes in Caracas that led to the capture of Nicolás Maduro. His vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, has since been sworn in as acting president.
