According to CNN, Kimmel’s monologue included a remark describing the first lady as having “a glow like an expectant widow.” Melania Trump said the comments were harmful and accused the host of spreading negativity. She called on ABC to take action.

The report said neither ABC nor Kimmel responded immediately. The controversy comes shortly after a security incident at the actual dinner, where President Donald Trump and others were evacuated.
