Elon Musk has launched Grokipedia, a new AI-driven encyclopedia he calls a truth-focused alternative to Wikipedia. Modeled after Wikipedia’s minimalist layout, Grokipedia’s articles are written by Musk’s Grok AI and currently total about 800,000 entries, far fewer than Wikipedia’s seven million.
Musk said Grokipedia aims to deliver “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.”

Version 1.0 will be 10X better, but even at 0.1 it’s better than Wikipedia imo.
Unlike Wikipedia, it remains unclear how much human oversight the platform has, though users can submit corrections. Musk also plans to preserve Grokipedia copies in orbit, on the Moon, and on Mars.
The launch comes after Musk repeatedly accused Wikipedia of left-wing bias, echoing conservative criticism that the site favors progressive narratives.
Early comparisons show that Grokipedia presents a more favorable portrayal of Musk, emphasizing innovation and media bias reform, while Wikipedia highlights his controversies and criticism. Musk said Grokipedia will evolve as Grok AI continues to improve.
