More than 37,000 U.S. customers reported problems around 12:30 a.m. ET, according to Downdetector. Service was largely restored within an hour.

Ukraine, which relies heavily on Starlink for drone operations and battlefield communication, reported a total blackout at 7:30 a.m. Kyiv time. The outage follows a similar disruption in July that lasted more than two hours, forcing Ukrainian forces to adapt without live-stream capabilities.
Starlink serves more than six million global users through thousands of low-Earth orbit satellites. The company briefly acknowledged the outage on its website before removing the notice. The cause remains unclear, and SpaceX has not issued a detailed statement.
