According to CNN, mission commander Reid Wiseman used a tablet device to capture the images, including a full view of Earth and another seen through the spacecraft window. NASA described the visuals as a powerful reminder of Earth’s unity.

The report said astronauts were captivated by the views, delaying routine activities to photograph the planet. Crew members described seeing continents, sunsets, and even the northern lights from orbit.
Mission specialist Christina Koch highlighted the emotional impact of viewing Earth from space, while other astronauts echoed similar reactions.
The images mark a milestone for Artemis II, the first crewed lunar mission in decades, as NASA continues efforts to return humans to the moon.
