NBC News attempted to mount an insane defense of the Joe Biden autopen presidency that ended up backfiring.
After a New York Times (NYT) report revealed more details on how Biden’s staffers and aides used an autopen to pardon the likes of Dr. Anthony Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley and others, NBC News thought they had a bombshell story of their own: the very lawmaker investigating the Biden coverup,
House Oversight Chairman James Comer, used *gasp* a digital signature on Oversight documents. The network aired an embarrassing segment on their story later Tuesday, prompting mockery and a fiery response from Comer himself.
“It’s clear Fake News NBC is where journalism goes to die, and Democrat propaganda goes to thrive. We are closing in on one of the greatest scandals in American history. The fact that the NBC hacks don’t know the difference between the authorized use of digital signature and the unauthorized use of autopen for executive actions is all you need to know,” the Kentucky lawmaker said in a statement to Fox Digital.
Yes, according to NBC, Comer using Adobe Acrobat digital signature to sign Oversight documents and letters (not subpoenas, by the way) is equivalent to top White House aides and staffers using an autopen without Biden’s approval to pardon Fauci at the literal eleventh hour.
