Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set for a packed schedule of meetings in Washington today, including with U.S. Vice President JD Vance and top congressional leaders, according to The Times of Israel.
Netanyahu will meet Vice President Vance at 9:15 a.m. at the Blair House, followed by a visit to Capitol Hill for talks with House Speaker Mike Johnson. He will then return to Blair House for additional meetings before heading to the Senate at 4 p.m. to meet Majority Leader John Thune, Senator John Fetterman, and others.
The diplomatic visit follows Netanyahu's private meeting with President Donald Trump, where he pledged to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. The two met for the first time since the U.S. launched military strikes on Iranian nuclear sites during the recent Israel-Iran conflict.
