Huang argued that concerns about AI destroying jobs or threatening humanity are overstated and warned that excessive regulation could slow innovation and weaken America's technological leadership.

According to the report, Huang encouraged policymakers to seek a broad range of industry perspectives rather than relying on a small group of AI executives. He also suggested that some companies may advocate stricter regulations because such policies could strengthen their competitive position.
