Nvidia has announced a $2 billion investment in Marvell Technology, expanding its footprint across the artificial intelligence ecosystem. The deal led to a sharp rise in Marvell’s shares, which climbed more than 9 percent in pre-market trading.

The agreement will integrate Marvell more closely into Nvidia’s AI infrastructure network, with both companies collaborating on areas such as silicon photonics and telecom networking. The partnership aims to accelerate deployment of advanced computing systems for shared clients.

This move is part of Nvidia’s broader strategy to invest heavily across the AI value chain. The company has recently backed several firms to secure critical technologies and scale infrastructure.

Analysts said the push reflects growing demand for computing power driven by AI applications. Nvidia is positioning itself to lead the sector by strengthening partnerships and expanding its influence across key components of the industry.
