UK media regulator Ofcom has opened an investigation into Elon Musk’s X over concerns that its AI chatbot, Grok, is being used to generate sexualized deepfake images, including content involving children.
The watchdog said the reports are “deeply concerning.”

If violations are confirmed, X could face fines of up to 10% of global revenue or £18 million, according to the BBC.
