Over 450 Arrested In DC As Federal Crime Crackdown Expands

Federal law enforcement in Washington, D.C., has made more than 450 arrests since August 7, the White House confirmed.

Officials said 68 firearms were seized and three gang members, including an MS-13 member, were taken into custody. In addition, 48 homeless encampments were cleared across the city.

On August 18 alone, federal officers made 52 arrests, highlighting the Trump administration’s intensified crackdown on crime and disorder in the nation’s capital.
