In an effort to rebrand Kamala Harris as an energetic, relatable leader, the campaign leaned on moments like Megan Thee Stallion’s twerking in Atlanta. It was a flashy media stunt that didn’t match the reality of a candidate who avoided interviews and ducked serious questions. But no amount of image-building could cover up her record. As Biden’s so-called border czar, she presided over a surge in illegal immigration that overwhelmed the system and eroded public trust. Then there was the press conference in Poland, where her awkward giggling embarrassed the country on the world stage. Even her longtime political mentor and ex-boyfriend Willie Brown has doubts. In a recent interview, he said Harris may not be a good "fit" for the California governor’s mansion and warned her road to elected office would be “difficult.” He added, “I do think people running for public office really ought to fit eventually where they are trying to land at. And I really do, hope, frankly, that [Harris] comes to that reality.” Harris has shown time and again that she is not up to the job.
