Russia launched one of its deadliest attacks on Kyiv this year, killing at least 17 people and injuring 44 in a large-scale barrage of drones and ballistic missiles, according to Ukrainian officials.
Zelenskyy urged Ukraine's allies to accelerate deliveries of ballistic missile interceptors and impose tougher sanctions on Russia, arguing that delays in military support were costing civilian lives.
The report said Ukraine also intensified strikes inside Russia, targeting additional warehouses belonging to retail giant Wildberries. According to regional officials, one Ukrainian drone struck a Wildberries sorting center in Russia's Tula region, causing a fire but no reported casualties.
The escalating attacks reflect a broader effort by both sides to damage logistics and critical infrastructure as the war intensifies and air defense resources remain under pressure.
