Russia is reportedly providing Iran with intelligence that could help Tehran target U.S. military forces during the ongoing war in the Middle East, according to a report by The Washington Post.
Officials cited in the report said Moscow has shared information on the locations of American military assets, including warships and aircraft operating in the region. The intelligence support reportedly began after the United States and Israel launched joint strikes against Iran last week.

The conflict has already expanded beyond Iran. Iranian retaliatory attacks have targeted U.S. bases across the region, with incidents reported as far as Azerbaijan and Sri Lanka.
Despite the reported assistance, U.S. officials said Iran’s ability to locate American forces has weakened after several days of heavy military strikes.
President Donald Trump has maintained a hard line toward Tehran, declaring that the war will end only if Iran agrees to unconditional surrender, according to statements posted on Truth Social.
