The U.S. Secret Service is aware of an Iranian state media video that appears to threaten the life of Barron Trump, President Donald Trump’s youngest son.
According to CNN, the nearly three-minute video was broadcast by Iran’s state-run IRIB and featured graphics identifying locations where Barron is publicly known to spend time, including Trump Tower in New York. The video also referenced a $10 million reward.
The report said the video is part of a broader Iranian campaign targeting President Trump and his family. A federal law enforcement source told CNN that some previous material included details about family members’ movements and suggestions of violence.
Iranian threats against Trump have persisted since the 2020 U.S. strike that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani. Recent threats have intensified following the conflict involving Iran, according to CNN.
