Judge Susan Crawford's victory over conservative Brad Schimel preserved liberals' narrow majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. However, the high-stakes election sparked questions about billionaire Elon Musk's involvement, who spent at least $21 million on the race. Musk's efforts included paying three voters $1 million each for signing a petition and offering $20 to those who canvassed for Schimel.

Despite this, Crawford won by a larger margin than expected, and Crawford's victory speech emphasized that "justice does not have a price" and "our courts are not for sale." Musk took to his X platform and responded, saying, “The long con of the left is corruption of the judiciary.”
Former U.S. President Barack Obama thanked the people of Wisconsin for electing a judge who believes in the rule of law, and former Vice President Kamala Harris called it a victory for the working people in Wisconsin.
Congratulations to Judge Susan Crawford on her victory, and to the people of Wisconsin for electing a judge who believes in the rule of law and protecting our freedoms.
