China launched missiles and stepped up military pressure around Taiwan on Tuesday during the second day of large-scale live-fire drills that Taipei condemned as dangerous and destabilizing.
The exercises, code-named Justice Mission 2025, included missile launches, fighter jets, bombers, and naval vessels practicing blockade operations and strikes on maritime targets, according to CBS News and AFP.

Beijing said the maneuvers were a response to U.S. arms sales to Taiwan and foreign support for what it calls separatist forces. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi warned Washington against further weapons transfers.
