Several employees at the federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas, have been fired after allegedly accessing and releasing Ghislaine Maxwell’s emails with her attorney.
Maxwell’s lawyer, Leah Saffian, condemned the leak, calling it an improper breach of attorney-client communication.

The messages were shared with Rep. Jamie Raskin by a whistleblower, who also alleged that Maxwell has received special privileges and is preparing materials for a possible commutation request.
House Judiciary Committee Democrats defended their decision to release the documents, arguing the emails were not legally privileged because Maxwell used the Bureau of Prisons’ monitored TRULINCS system, which requires inmates to waive confidentiality.
The committee said the whistleblower is protected and that no privileged legal communications were disclosed.
Saffian insisted Maxwell has not filed any commutation or pardon request with President Trump’s administration, noting such applications can only follow the exhaustion of all appeals.
