Trump Admits: Deportations Taking ‘Good Workers’ Away

President Donald Trump acknowledged Thursday that his immigration enforcement policies may be removing long-time workers from key U.S. industries, including agriculture and hospitality.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said farmers and business owners have told him that mass deportations are “taking very good, long time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible to replace.”

Despite the admission, Trump doubled down on his rhetoric, blaming President Joe Biden’s border policies for allowing “criminals” into the country. He wrote that “changes are coming,” though he did not elaborate.

The president did not name specific business leaders or farmers who raised these concerns. Trump administration has pledged to carry out mass deportations as a key part of its immigration agenda heading into the summer.
