President Donald Trump attacked Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Truth Social Monday after the Georgia Republican told CBS’ 60 Minutes that he has “forsaken” his base and abandoned his America First agenda.
Greene, once one of Trump’s most loyal allies, is resigning from Congress and has increasingly criticized the president over domestic priorities, crypto, and the pharmaceutical industry.

Trump called Greene a “low IQ traitor,” claiming she “went bad” only after feeling “jilted.” He also blasted CBS, 60 Minutes, and Paramount’s ownership for airing the interview.
“I stood for women who were raped when they were 14 years old. And the president that I fought for for five years called me a traitor for that. And so that changed the landscape of things,” says Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, explaining why she is resigning. https://t.co/KpOvJ5yYIt pic.twitter.com/UZqWmW2930

Greene alleged Trump’s rhetoric triggered bomb threats and direct death threats toward her and her son, saying the messages used Trump’s phrase “Marjorie Traitor Greene.” She said she informed Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
“It's the most toxic political culture. And it's not helping the American people,” says Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Greene argued Republicans remain publicly loyal because they fear Trump’s attacks. She denied he forced her out, saying, “I will be no one’s battered wife.”
